It has been 12 days and I still can't believe 2008 is here. To think - a year ago - I was huge and dying to have a baby, EARLY! :0) She is now a bouncy, squirmy, determined little babbbbaaayy. Remember those smiles that they so freely gave, just looking at you? Well, now you have to work for them. And soon enough, THAT won't even work. To update further, Delaney Grace is working teeth out left and right. She's successfully taking two naps a day and lengthening her night time sleep. PRAISEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE the Lord. She is a very vocal child, very rarely do we have silence in the house. She talks in her sleep even. She has also turned into a little social butterfly. Waving like Miss America to the faithful cars that pass her by on daily walks, are now the recent moments that I so fondly journal about. Last week in nursery, Sean opened the door to see Delaney in her little jean skirt sitting on the floor with book in one hand and waving with the other. Seriously adorable. The many precious moments overflow my locked treasure box inside my heart of hearts. She is my pride and joy. She is moments away from walking and is very capable of getting around on her belly. OR just roll to where you wanna go. She loves dancing. Loud bass drives by and she looks quickly at me and starts bouncing up and down. The child has rhythm.
We are doing well, as well. Keeping busy and staying 'what's next', with the Lord. Its not always fun, but rewarding. Charles Spurgeon has been the recent encourager of my life. His words as a devotional have been my daily challenge. Sean and I actually went to a couples connecting get together tonight at church. Mingling with couples from all ages, was an experience to say the least. We will be attending a group Friday nights now and going through the New Testament together. We look forward to having some fellowship and hopefully meeting a few couples that we can become friends with.Other than that, we're just living life day to day. To my 'cyberstalkers' aka, Tiffananay...thanks for reminding me to update. Its an easy thing to do, just requires a little bit of time. Remember, "Your heavenly Father knows your needs. He will always give you all you need from day to day" Luke 12:30-31
In His Grace,
Kyla
